Guild 1947 was started because much of modern jewellery had begun to feel the same: louder logos, faster trends, design taking a back seat to marketing. We wanted to make jewellery that felt considered again. Pieces that begin with form, hold their shape over time, and don't depend on the noise around them to be understood. Our approach is design-first. Every piece begins with a question of structure: what the form is doing, what can be left out, what makes it worth wearing for years rather than seasons. The work is rooted in restraint. Not minimal for the sake of it, but disciplined. Enough thought that the result feels inevitable, and enough confidence to leave the rest alone.

Guild 1947 is built on two origins, one inherited and one chosen.

Prajay's entry point was already inside the world of jewellery. Growing up around a family business established in 1947, he learned the craft from the inside out: how pieces are made, what endures, what fails, and what it takes for an idea to survive the realities of production.

Jhanvi came to jewellery through design, thinking in structure, proportion, and visual rhythm. She is drawn to what happens when form is reduced to its essentials, and how restraint can make something feel more complete, not less.

Guild exists in the space between those two perspectives, where design intent meets the reality of making, and neither is allowed to dilute the other. Our pieces are sterling silver, plated with real gold and set with gemstones. We're not trying to offer a thousand options. We're trying to offer the right ones. A word on the name.
